DOTHAN: Dothan Fire, Dothan Airport Fire and Dothan Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash at Hwy 134 and Paramore Road. At least two have been transported to the hospital by Pilcher's Ambulance.
The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Dothan Police.
UPDATED @ 11:37 AM
There was debate in this accident of who had jurisdiction to investigate this accident between the 911 Center in Dothan, Ozark-Dale County 911, and ALEA - Troopers/Dothan Post.
While the Dothan Area Regional Airport sits in Dale County, the actual airport sits in the city limits of Dothan. Sometimes it becomes a nightmare of understanding what jurisdiction is responsible for that particular location.
The final conclusion the accident was to be worked by ALEA - Troopers. The on scene ALEA - Trooper is Jerry Jensen.
Dothan Police assisted with traffic. Some were transported to be checked out but no serious injuries.
This scene is a display of the "boots on the streets" working together for the service of the public. Dothan 911, Ozark-Dale County 911, Dothan Airport Fire, Dothan Fire, Pilcher Ambulance. And if needed, South Dale EMS and/or ECHO EMS would have responded.
All "boots on the ground" working to serve others.
