DOTHAN:      Dothan Communications has dispatched Dothan Fire, Dothan Police and Pilchers Ambulance to a motor vehicle accident at Cottonwood Hwy and Eddins Rd. Reports are critical injuries on scene and one vehicle overturned.

Dothan Fire units on scene have requested three additional ambulances from Pilchers to respond for multiple patients. 

8:39pm First Pilchers Ambulance is enroute to a Dothan Hospital emergency. The third ambulance enroute has been cancelled.

Cottonwood Road is closed at this time

Shortly after the third ambulance was cancelled Dothan Fire Department requested it be r-dispatched.

There are multiple ambulances. Three ambulances were dispatched in addition to the primary ambulance.

At 8:55 PM the supervisor on the scene said as soon as the last ambulance departs they were going to try and get the scene clean.

At 8:56 PM Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Fire are leaving the scene, emrgency - trauma alert, enroute to a Dothan hospital.

At 8:59 PM all Dothan Fire units are clearing the scene and turned over to Dothan Police.

This is a critical injury accident so we are witholding scene pictures at this time. ALEA - Trooper Justin Smith is in charge of the accident investigation.

The accident was not in the intersection of Eddins Road and Cottonwood Road but it was in the 4400 block of Cottonwood Road.
