COWARTS: 2:55 PM Houston County Sheriff 911 has dispatched a motor vehicle accident on Highway 84 East and South Broad.
Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Cowarts Volunteer Fire, Ashford EMS responding. ALEA - Troopers are responding as the primary investigating agency.

Cowarts Fire Chief Roger Nall has reported no injuries and cancelled all medical units responding.

The driver of the red F150 swerved to miss a vehicle that cut them off when he ran off the road into the median. The driver that cut him did not stick around and left the scene. A passer By stooped and pulled the red truck out of the ditch and the driver drove it home.
