KINSEY: HOUSTON County 911 dispatched emergency units to the apartments on Walden Drive in KINSEY.
Kinsey Volunteer Fire, WEBB Volunteer Fire, Headland Fire, DOTHAN Fire, Dothan-HOUSTON County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah, Kinsey Interim Police Chief Robert Jones, HOUSTON County Sheriff Deputies, Headland EMS dispatched.
Reports fully involved and possibly occupied.

Unable to confirm if occupied at this time. Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza has responded.
Wiregrass Electric is responding.

At the time the call was dispatched it was feared a mother and children were inside the apartment.
Fire units have been able to get the fire knocked down and make entry into the residence. It is all clear, no one is inside the apartment. Adjoining apartments are all clear.
EMA Director Chris Judah has made contact with Red Cross to respond to take care of immediate needs of displaced residents.
Houston County Commissioner District One Curtis Harvey responded to assist.
At 3:47 AM Kinsey Command reports the fire is out and hitting hot spots.

Sheriff Valenza was also on the scene. The fire is under investigation by the Houston County Sheriff's Office. 8 families were displaced due to the fire. Some only had the clothes on their backs and no shoes or jackets. Firefighters tried to help the families get warm while others fought the fire.
Houston County Sheriff Chief Deputy Jeff Carlisle was on the scene also.
