DOTHAN: This evening from 10:30 PM until midnight Dothan Police responded to more than 10 different calls where someone was firing off gunshots.
A suspect vehicle was identified and a BOLO issued for the suspect vehicle.
A Houston County Sheriff Patrol Deputy spotted a vehicle matching the description with the a possible matching license plate number. The Houston County Sheriff Patrol Deputy detained the driver and observed the car in the parking lot of the Marathon, South Oates Street and Ross Clark Circle.
The Deputy observed some broken glass in the vehicle and possible holes from gunfire. The Deputy also issued a BOLO for a black Nissan Altima which sped off on South Oates Street when the Patrol Deputy encountered the Dodge Charger.
Dothan Police Patrol which answered the shots fired call and issued the BOLO'S was called to the Marathon to further the investigation.
While multiple Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies were on the scene of the Marathon the black Nissan Altima drove back up. The combined law enforcement officers detained the driver of the Altima.
At 2:41 AM both Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies are investigating.

The vehicle stopped, gray vehicle, after the investigation it was determined the person wsa a victim of shots fired and not a suspect. However he had marihuana on him so he caught a possession charge.
