Jackson County FL. – A Vehicle accident on Hwy 73 near Marianna has closed the road. A vehicle left the roadway hitting pecan trees. There are reported at least 4 injuries with multiple ambulances on the scene and medical helicopters landing in the area.
Florida Highway Patrol has close down Hwy 73 at Lancer Rd for emergency responders and to work the scene.
Reports are there is critical injuries on the scene.
UPDATE 3:30pm
Two Jackson County Ambulances have been seen leaving the accident headed North on 231 towards Alabama. Possibly 4 helicopters have been dispatched to the scene for medivac.
UPDATE 4:00pm
Only 2 helicopters were able to be dispatched due to others already on calls. Other patients were taken by ground ambulance hospitals.
