DOTHAN:     3:29 PM    Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire located at 916 Allen Road. 

The person reporting to Dothan 911 stated flames visible from meter box.

Multiple Dothan Fire Engine Companies responding, Engine 5 ( Eastside ), Engine 1 ( Central ), Engine 4 ( Southside ), Squad 1, Rehab, Battalion Chief.

3:34 PM   Dothan Fire Engine 5 ( Eastside ) arrived. They reported a single story residential structure, smoke from both eaves of the residence. Engine 5 making an offensive attack. They reported they have not connected to a fire hydrant and for the next incoming fire engine company to connect to a fire hydrant.

3:35 PM   Dothan Fire Engine 5 ( Eastside ) requests Dothan Utilities be dispatched.

3:35 PM   Dothan Fire Engine 1 ( Central ) arrived on the scene. Engine 1 is connecting to a fire hydrant and bringing in fire house. Engine 1 is blocking Allen and Stringer Street.

3:36 PM   Dothan Fire Deputy Fire Chief Pete Webb has arrived on the scene.

3:37 PM   Dothan Fire Battalion Chief Ash has arrived on the scene. Active fire in the meter box and unable to control the fire at this time. Offensive attack. Chief Ash is taking scene command

3:38 PM    Dothan Fire Deputy Chief Pete Webb has assumed "Safety" and gone all around struture for any safety hazards, and he reports all clear.

3:38 PM    Dothan Fire Engine 4 ( Southside ) and Squad 1 have arrived on the scene.

3:39 PM    Dothan Fire Engine 5 ( Eastside ) which has assumed "Fire Attack" reports a verbal "all clear". This means no one inside the residence.

3:41 PM    Dothan Fire Battalion Chief Ash reports worsing smoke in front of residence.

3:42 PM    Dothan Fire Engine crew reports a "confirmed" all clear meaning no one inside the residence.

3:42 PM    Dothan 911 reports a 10 minutes response for Dothan Utilities to arrive on the scene.

3:43 PM    Dothan Fire Attack is laddering the gable end to make access. Also SAFETY request a ladder on the gabble on the opposite end of the other attack crew. A saw is requested to make access.

3:46 PM    Dothan Fire Attack crew making access in the attic over the kitchen to control the fire as it attempts to spread.

3:50 PM    Dothan Fire Engine 5 pumper is going to have to be moved due to power line.

3:51 PM    Dothan Fire Engine 5 and Engine 1 interrior crews have exited the structure.

3:52 PM    Dothan Fire Battalion Chief has done a roll call of everyone on the scene. Everyone accounted for and all fireman have exited the structure at this time. 

3:54 PM    Dothan Fire Engine 5 has changed positions and all lines are charged for water flow. Fire hydrant on and sending water. Fire attack from exterrior and no one interrior at this time.

3:57 PM    Dothan Fire Battalion Chief Ash announced a "defensive fire strategy".

3:57 PM    Dothan Utilities on scene. All power is still alive at this time.

3:59 PM    Dothan Fire Battalion Chief Ash announced all power has been cut to the residence at this time.

4:08 PM    Deputy Fire Chief Pete Webb announced a partial roof collapse on the back right rear of the residence. 

4:24 PM    Deputy Fire Chief Pete Webb and Dothan Fire Battalion Chief announced "under control".

4:27 PM     Dothan Fire Chief Larry Williams has been on the scene and just leaving the structure fire scene.

Dothan Police Patrol units have been on the scene. Pilcher Ambulance has been on the scene. Dothan Fire Prevention Officer has been on the scene for investigation into causes of the fire.

Dothan Fire will contact American Red Cross to help residents with immediate needs.
