HOUSTON COUNTY: 2:45 pm Houston County Sheriff Deputies in pursuit of a stolen vehicle. With three occupints,one white male and two black males.

The chase is on Ross Clark Circle Approaching Highway 431.

Vehicle running app. 65 mph. Northbound on Ross Clark Circle towards Denton Road.

Vehicle is on Ross Clark Circle at Choctaw. Appears passenger arguing with the driver. Passenger has hands up.

The vehicle is on the wrong side of the circle. Now back on the correct side. Approaching West Main and Ross Clark. Extremely heavy traffic.

The chase has ended at South Park and Ross Clark Circle. Dothan Police put on spike strips.

Houston County Sheriff Deputies spotted a stolen Jeep from Headland. Houston County Sheriff Patrol Shift Commander reported the vehicle was traveling on Old Webb Road outside Ross Clark Circle towards the Circle.

The stolen Jeep then turned on Ennis Road towards Highway 52. The vehicle then traveled on Highway 52 to the ramp at Ross Clark Circle and Columbia Highway.

Once going up the ramp the vehicle turned right onto Ross Clark Circle traveling around the Circle to South Park and Ross Clark Circle.

Dothan Police Patrol Division set up spike strips at Ross Clark and South Park Avenue.

A Houston County Sheriff Tahoe was able to get in front of the Jeep and stop it.

The Jeep, several times, crossed the median and was going against traffic. Reports from units in pursuit the passenger was holding hands up and arguing with the driver. It appears the passenger was attempting to get the driver to stop. Reports at one time one person was standing up in the Jeep.

Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza was on the scene.

A unmarked Houston County Sheriff Vice Deputy rear ended a Dothan Police Ford Explorer on the scene crashing the rear of the Dothan Police Explorer.

Chevrolet meets Ford!!!
