DOTHAN: 10:58 PM Dothan 911 dispatched Police - Fire - EMS - Houston County Sheriff Deputies to a firearm assault at 1924 Reeves Street in Dothan.
Reports to 911 a female with gunshot wound(s) to the leg(s).
Multiple emergency units responded. Reports increased to possible two gunshot victims and assault victims.
Dothan Fire Engine 9 ( Technology ) responded and an additional Paramedic Engine was dispatched, Engine 5 ( Eastside ). Three Pilcher Ambulance units were dispatched.
While responding a Houston County Sheriff Deputy stopped a possible suspect vehicle on Reeves Street outside Ross Clark Circle at the Shell Station.
There was a huge crowd at Plaza Two. The gunshot victim left the scene and went private owned vehicle to the hospital.
Dothan Engine 5 was cancelled. Dothan Fire treated patient(s) injured from possible broken glass.
Dothan Police units responded to both Flowers Hospital and Southeast Health.
On arrival of Southeast Health multiple Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded emergency. A huge crowd in the parking lot.
Dothan Police Officers stood guard to the emergency room with long guns ( rifles ) blocking entrance into the hospital.
The crowd was disorderly and yelling in the parking lot.
The law enforcement officers got the crowd under control. Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza rolled as did command staff with Dothan Police Department.
Dothan Police Criminal Investigators responded to Plaza Two. Dothan Police Crime Scene Investigators were called to Plaza Two to process the crime scene.
As of this writing all details are not known. All officers are to busy to even know what all has taken place.
UPDATED @ 4:40 PM SUNDAY
There were a total of 5 young people shot at Plaza Two. None of those shot are reported to have life threatening injuries.
The scene and hospital were chaos.
At the hospital many officers, armed with rifles, were on guard in front of the emergency room entrance as hospital officials treated those injured.
In the middle of that chaos a Firearm Suicide Attempt was transported into the Emergency Room.
Dothan Police 911, Houston County Sheriff 911, Dothan Police, Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Southeast Health Security, nurses, doctors, Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance handled the chaos.
