DALE COUNTY: An ALEA - Trooper spotted the suspect vehicle which was reported to be from the Brundidge area. The ALEA - Trooper gave chase and was able to get the vehicle stopped on Highway 231 and County Road 125 in Dale County. Reports are items in the vehicle that were possibly stolen in the house in Kinsey. The suspect was covered in blood but refused EMS. There was evidence the suspect was injured on the scene apparently from cutting his hand. Kinsey Police Chief Jim Mock is responding to the scene of the traffic stop at this time.
DOTHAN: A critical injury wreck dispatched at 1:49 PM at Westgate Parkway and Montgomery Highway. Dothan Fire, Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police responded. The injury status was downgraded to moderate injuries.
DOTHAN: Around 1:48 PM a possible burglary in progress dispatched in Spann Farms on Hidden Pines. No apparent entry into any residence which was possible caused by a resident alarming the possible suspect. The suspect fled and Dothan Police could find no entry or attempted entry. A Dothan Police car, Dodge Charger, caught on fire and burned the engine compartment and inside of the police car. The officer was not injured but the car is a total loss. Reports this is a possible mechanical issue with DodGE Chargers.
ASHFORD: 2:21 PM. Houston County 911 dispatched a structure fire on Pleasant Grove Road in Ashford. Ashford Fire Department, Ashford Rescue, Ashford Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded. The call was a dryer was on fire and flames were visible. Ashford Fire Department was quick on the scene, the fire put put and was deemed an electrical issue.
COFFEE-COVINGTON COUNTY: Coffee County Sheriff Department made a traffic stop. The driver was asked if they could search the vehicle. Apparently the driver’s answer was NO because he took off. Law Enforcement chased the suspect for 8 to 10 miles. The driver apparently attempted to dispose of the drugs out the window during the chase but law enforcement saw it and it was recovered. Reports are the suspect called his mother who said, STOP!!! The suspect had entered into Covington County when he stopped. The suspect was placed under arrest.
SOMEONE TEXT - POST IT!!! Sorry for the delay in posting. It is hard to drive and post at the same time. Everything was happening at the same time in multiple places. The first pictures in this article are of Hidden Pines in Spann Farms and last pictures are Westgate Parkway and Montgomery Highway.
