HENRY COUNTY:    4:46 PM    Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship was in pursuit of a vehicle northbound on Highway 95.


Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship lost visual and within seconds another Henry County Deputy has picked up the chase.


The last update that I have is another Deputy has spotted the vehicle and is in pursuit on Henry County 91 approaching Henry County Road 46.


The vehicle being chased is a 4 door black truck.


No more information at this time.

The chase began in Columbia by Columbia Police Department. In a routine traffic stop the driver decided to press the gas pedal instead of the brakes.


The driver went from what was probably a traffic ticket to now felonies in Houston and Henry County, and multiple traffic violations in COlumbia and in Henry County.


At 5:16 PM Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship and members of Henry County Sheriff Department along with Columbia Police have the suspect stopped and in custody on J.A. Money Road in Henry County.
