EUFAULA: 12:42 PM. Eufaula Fire Department and Eufaula Police are on the scene of a reported fatal aircraft crash.
UNCONFIRMED with law enforcement, the crash is at the airport or near the airport. Initial belief is the aircraft crash occurred sometime on Wednesday.
There is one confirmed fatality.
All of the investigative authorities are responding.

Barbour County Coroner Chip Chapman was called to the airport this morning in reference to the airplane crash.
Coroner CHapman has identified the fatality as 35 year old Norman O’Donnell.
Mr. O’Donnell has an Enterprise address and Destin address. He was pronounced dead on the scene by Coroner Chip Chapman at 9:09 AM this morning.
The aircraft was found about 60 yards off the end of the runway at Eufaula Airport. A plane in the air notified the airport this morning of the sighting of the aircraft. Until then no one had reported the plane which was believed to have wrecked sometime on Wednesday. There had been planes to include military planes using the airport.
The National Traffic Safety Board is in charge of the investigation.
