DALE COUNTY - NAPIER FIELD:    6:18 PM     Ozark - Dale County 911 dispatched emergency units to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Highway 134 and County Road 79.

Reports are a two vehicle accident.

ECHO Fire - EMS arrived on the scene at 6:34 PM. Dale County Sheriff Deputies are on the scene and establishing a landing zone for Survival Flight which has been launched.

Headland Police units are on the scene.

Dale County Sheriff Deputy reported to Ozark - Dale County 911 at 6:36 PM that ECHO Rescue said the Survival Flight could be cancelled.

Survival Flight policy is for agencies to auto launch them based on the information given to the 911 Staff. They had rather be enroute and cancelled them to be needed and time wasted getting them launched. And even if the patient is to bad to go into the helicopter, such as CPR in progress, the air medics will board the ambulance for the transport to assist ground EMS.

Napier Field Police and Midland City Police and possible the respective fire departments are on the scene. RSN is south of Dothan and not on the scene.

ECHO Rescue has left the scene transporting the accident victims emergency to a Dothan hospital.
