Slocomb - Geneva County Comm center has dispatched Slocomb Fire Rescue, Geneva County Sheriff, Slocomb PD and AST to an overturned vehicle on County Rd 9 at Upton Rd. There is entrapment of the occupants.
Slocomb Rescue has requested Survival Flight.
Slocomb Fire and Rescue has arrived to find a single vehicle overturned in the ditch with a total of 5 patients.
Slocomb Fire Rescue stabilized the vehicle and began extricating the occupant from the vehicle.
7:45am Slocomb Rescue request Wicksburg Rescue as mutual aid for and additional ambulance
7:55am Survival Flight has landed on the scene. Slocomb command advises that one patient has been extricated.
Retired Dothan Fire Captain and Slocomb EMS Chief Adrian Thomas is commanding the scene. Slocomb Assistant Fire Chief Tim Carnes and Enterprise Fireman and Malvern Fire Chief Anthony Johnson is on the scene. I know there are more but those are the only ones I have heard on the radio. Others are hard at working extricating and handling patient care.
8:00am Slocomb Rescue 5 has just arrived on scene for a total of 3 ambulances now on the scene.
Survival Flight transporting one patient to Dothan Hospital
8:15am Wicksburg Rescue is transporting two patient to a Dothan hospital emergency as a trauma alert
8:35am Slocomb Rescue transporting two patients to Dothan hospital non emergency
Total of 5 patient and 1 patient critical
Alabama State Troopers are in charge of investigating the accident
