(Dothan) - Dothan Comm Center has dispatched Dothan Fire and Dothan Police to a vehicle accident with major injuries at Vanderbilt Dr and Ross Clark Circle. This is on the south side of the circle just past the railroad tracks near S. Park.
Reports are multiple patient have been ejected and possible entrapment.
Dothan Fire arrived on scene advising major damage to two vehicle and patients laying on the ground.
2:15pm Dothan Fire is advising there are two patients that are trauma alerts. A total of three ambulances have been dispatched.

This accident involved a pickup truck and a Semi Tractor pulling flat bed short utility trailer. The Semi Tractor appeared to leave long bold skid marks.
The emergency units on the scene reported possibly three trauma patients, requesting two ambulances emergency and one ambulance non-emergency. Shortly thereafter the call was downgraded to two trauma alert patients.
The two trauma patients were transported emergency by Pilcher Ambulance along with Dothan Fire Paramedics on board the ambulance.
Dothan Police Traffic Commander Lt. Chris Watson and Dothan Police Criminal Investigation Commander Lt. Ronald Hall was on the scene.
Dothan Fire Captain Jack Wood was off duty but came up shortly after the accident occured and began emergency medical care while emergency units were responding.
The accident injuries are critical. RSN is holding scene pictures until the receiving hospital has time to notify family,
Dothan Police is in charge of the accident investigation.
