DOTHAN: 9:16 PM. Dothan 911 has dispatched Dothan Fire Engine 6 ( Napier Field Road ), Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police to a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle, Highway 231 North and John D. Odom Road.
The persons reporting has reported CPR in progress and then reported to 911 the person is breathing.
The vehicle is on the scene which alleged to have struck the victim is having medical issues.
Dothan Fire Engine 6, Captain Angus Scott, has requested an additional ambulance emergency. Captain Scott reports one critical patient and two minor injuries.
Dothan Police have closed all northbound lanes of Highway 231 North at John D. Odom Road at this time.
Units are just arriving on the scene. Dothan Fire Engine 6 was on the scene in less than 3 minutes from when the call hit 911.
UPDATED @ 9:29 PM.
Dothan Fire Engine 6 Paramedics and Pilcher Ambulance just departed the scene, emergency transport, working a trauma. The emergency medical crew is transporting to Flowers Hospital.
Dothan Police Patrol Sgt. Moody has requested the Dothan Police CRASH TEAM be dispatched. This team is a specialized team of traffic investigators who their entire focus is on investigating serious motor vehicle accidents and reconstruction of those accidents.

Updated, the transporting EMS unit of the trauma patient has been diverted to Southeast Health.
The CRASH TEAM Lieutenant is in service and responding to the crash scene.

The first ambulance has arrived at Southeast Health. The second ambulance has departed the scene and transporting other victims to Southeast Health.
