TAYLOR:     8:24 PM   Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched a commercial burglary in progress, 5082 West State Highway 52.

Reports to Sheriff 911 were a white male occupying a blue Jeep with a broken front window was present.

Houston County Sheriff Deputies were on the scene within seconds of the call being dispatched. Deputies report subject detained.

Houston County Sheriff Deputies are investigating to see the full story.

At the time this call was dispatched units were on the fire on Hodgesville and Middleton Road. So a lot of radio traffic.

At the time of the Commercial Burglary Taylor Police Officer Brad Cain was assisting a motorist near the scene. It was actually Taylor Police Officer Brad Cain who was the first on the scene and apprehended the suspect.

Arrested and booked into the Houston County Jail was Tommy Carter of Ashford.
