GORDON: 19:22 Houston County 911 dispatched a firearm assault at 377 Tifton Road in Gordon.
As Houston County 911 dispatched the call and was obtaining additional information the responding units were advised possible two firearm assault victims.
Houston County 911 dispatched multiple Deputies, Ashford Police, Cottonwood Police to the scene area. Columbia Police was notified and on the lookout for suspect.
Ashford Rescue responded to ambulances arriving at a Dothan hospital at 8:07 PM with two firearm assault victims, trauma alert. Reports were the victims were conscious and alert. Both ambulances were being followed emergency by Houston County Sheriff Patrol Deputies while transporting to the hospital.
Ashford Police spotted a suspect vehicle and gave chase to the vehicle. The suspect was last seen traveling north on Highway 95. The suspect vehicle was lost and a suspect has been identified. A BOLO has been issued to all surrounding agencies, to include Florida and Georgia.
Multiple Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Criminal Investigators are on the scene. The Patrol Shift Commander, Lt. Shaw is on the scene. Houston County Sheriff Chief Deputy Jeff Carlisle, Sheriff Mayor Bill Rafferty, Communications Commander Captain James Ivey are all on the scene. Ashford Police Chief and Cottonwood Police Chief are on the scene.
Law Enforcement has closed down Tipton Road.

The Emergency Department of Southeast Health is on lockdown ONLY BECAUSE of the two firearm assault victims from Gordon. No threats against the hospital, no one in danger at the hospital. The lockdown is out of precaution.
Houston County Sheriff Crime Scene Investigation vehicle has arrived on the scene of the firearm assault.
