HOUSTON COUNTY: At 9:57 AM, Wicksburg Fire and Rescue, Baysprings Fire Department, is responding to a report of a possible structure fire on County Road 9. Dispatch advised a wire burning smell only no smoke or flames at this time.


Wicksburg Fire Chief Broc Collins was first on scene a single-story structure with nothing visible.

Chief Collins jus.t advised everything was okay, no fire just a shorted kitchen appliance. He advised all units were back in service.
