HOUSTON COUNTY: 1:59 PM Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Madrid Volunteer Fire to a outdoor fire on Highway 605 just off Highway 231.
On arrival additional assistance was requested.
Southern Junction Volunteer Fire, Rehobeth Volunteer Fire and Hodgesville Volunteer Fire responded. The fire is under control.
It is dry. Fireworks or any spark can start a outdoor fire which can spread quickly. So be careful and be responsive in calling 911 for fireman to respond quickly before they get out of control.
