ASHFORD:    At 4:00 PM... Houston County 911 dispatched a serious /critical accident on  Highway 84 East and Broadway ( County Road 55 ) at Ashford.

A two vehicle accident. Two patients were transported, trauma alert, to a Dothan hospital. Two persons in the accident refused transport on the scene.

Ashford Police, Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Ashford Rescue, Ashford Fire, Pilcher Ambulance responded. 

Ashford Police Officer Tim Miller is in charge of the accident investigation.

US 84 West Bound lanes from County 55 to the inland station are closed until all the wreckage cane be cleared. Ashford Rescue transported both the injured patients and Pilcher’s was cancelled.
