GENEVA COUNTY: At 2:00 PM.. Hartford Fire, Hartford and Slocomb Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Hwy 123 North of Hartford. Survival Flight has been Launched. One person is reported to be in critical condition
The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.

Hartford EMS, Hartford Fire, Slocomb EMS, Slocomb Fire, Hartford Police, Geneva County Sheriff Deputies and Survival Flight on scene.

We have Confirmed one person is deceased in the accident, two were taken to the hospital. One was transported by Slocomb Rescue and one was airlifted. Due to the nature of the accident we are with-holding all scene photos until the families can be identified

DOTHAN POST - A two-vehicle crash at approximately 1:55 p.m. on Monday, November 25th, 2019 has claimed the life of a Hartford man. Kibre Allen Dorriety, 82, was killed when the 1996 Ford F-150 he was operating struck a 1999 Ford Explorer being operated by Bobby Flowers, 79, of Ashford, Alabama. Mr. Flowers was transported to Southeast Alabama Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The passenger Bonnie Flowers, 74, was transported to Flowers Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Dorriety was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on AL 123 near mile marker four in Geneva County. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
