Geneva County - At 2:50pm 34 Central, Geneva County Communications, Dispatched Fadette Fire, Slocomb Fire and Rescue, and Malvern Fire to a Structure Fire at 4146 Mitchell Rd. Upon arrival of first units on scene this was considered a working fire with a mobile home, RV and two cars on fire. Slocomb Fire Chief Kyle Hovey is on the scene and in command. Firefighters were quick to have water on the fire but took around 30 min to have an under control due to the amount of fire. Interior crews have advised they have an all clear of the structure, meaning all 9 of the residence are out of the house. Four adults and five children will receive assistance from Red Cross that has been contacted to assist the residence of the home. There was no injuries in the fire but the family home is a total loss.
