Marsh stands by idea of using CARES Act money for new State House
MONTGOMERY: In Alabama a Probate Judge, who has a backbone, is needed to issue a order for Alabama State Senate Pro Tem Del Marsh to be taken into custody and committed for a mental examination.
This needs to be the first order of business and see if this man is fit and proper to be making decisions on behalf of the citizens of the State of Alabama. Based on what is in the news reports and the decisions he is trying to make it does not sound that he is mentally fit or sound to make the decisions for the State of Alabama. Furthermore Del Marsh is not an elected state wide official. He was elected by his peers in the Alabama Senate. A time for replacement.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT STOKES?
The United States Congress has passed a $ 1.8 million dollar package that has been sent to the states to help to stop the spread of COVID-19.
The news reports are Alabama Speaker of the House, Del Marsha, wants the money to construct a new Alabama State House. The current state house was constructed in 1963.
Lawmakers are awaiting instructions from federal guidelines on how this money is to be spent. It is to be used for actions taken to respond to public health emergency expenditures and maybe used for actions taken to respond to public health emergency.
LEGISLATURE RETURNS MAY 18
If these are the plans of Senate Pro Tem Del Marsh, hopefully, he will be unable to attend or communicate at the Alabama Legislature on May 18 and days following until the legislative session ends. For the record, I do not wish anything bad to happen to the man. But if he wants to use the money for building .
A new State House is more important then his health.
