HOLMES COUNTY - Bonifay Fire-Rescue responded to a motor vehicle accident this morning at the school entrance located on Highway 90. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported on scene. It’s no secret that school traffic is busy and sometimes stressful. A vehicle accident certainly increases those emotions. Along with our Assistant Chief Cook, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Wimberly, SRO Johnson, and SRO Segers did an excellent job of directing traffic as other agencies worked the scene. Officer Eagar with Bonifay Police Department and Holmes County EMS - FL Rescue 2 worked efficiently to take care of their responsibilities so that school traffic could be back flowing as quickly as possible. We appreciate the patience of everyone waiting in the lines to go to and from the schools. It’s moments like these that we are thankful for the safety and protection of our students and their loved ones!
