DOTHAN, ALABAMA:      On Saturday, September 16, from 9 AM to 12 PM, Water World Dothan is hosting an event that includes doggie swimming, a pet contest, a photo area, and many local vendors.

Both the wave pool (without waves) and Kids Cove will be open for dogs to go swimming.

Dothan Ice Cream will sell "pup"sicles, and Mural City Coffee Company will be onsite selling coffee to humans.

The entry fee is a $12 donation per dog, and all proceeds will go to the Dothan Animal Shelter, Angel Paws, and Wiregrass Spay and Neuter Alliance.
