WCSO Lead Communications Officers Earns Prestigious FBI-Leeds Trilogy Award

WALTON COUNTY, FLA:Walton County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce Lead Communications Officer Monica Webster has received the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award.

Webster completed the three-part leadership series as the only non-sworn participant among classes of law enforcement officers.


The trilogy, which includes the Supervisor Leadership Institute (SLI), the Command Leadership Institute (CLI), and the Executive Leadership Institute (ELI) is commonly referred to as the “leadership journey” by instructors.



Courses are designed to enhance law enforcement commanders with leadership skills to better equip their agencies to serve their communities. Using a peer teaching approach, the seminar is instructed by seasoned law enforcement leaders and public safety professionals from across the country to share their strong expertise in each session.



The award honors an individual or department’s achievement in completing a cutting-edge leadership development program designed to strengthen law enforcement leadership on a global scale.



Webster started with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office as a dispatcher in April of 2005 and was promoted to Lead Communications Officer in November 2012. She was awarded Employee of the Quarter in 2013.



“It says a great deal about Mrs. Webster’s commitment to the people of Walton County and to our agency for completing these courses as the only non-sworn member of her classes,” said Sheriff Adkinson. “This training demonstrates Mrs. Webster’s commitment to excellence, and we are excited to watch her apply this knowledge to improve our agency’s daily service to our community.”
