The World Famous And-1 Live Basketball Tour 2013 will return to Northview High School for the 3rd consecutive year with an all new roster of star players and electrifying young talent. This year, will make it the tour’s 3rd consecutive stop here in the city of Dothan; normally scheduled in the major US cities like New York, Chicago and even Atlanta; we can expect to continue to witness these world class basketball athletes perform here in our very own city. The event is consistent with its service mission; promoting the importance of education as well as physical, social, and mental wellness of our youth; furthermore emphasizing the impact of sub-cultures from many diverse backgrounds of life; coming together and working as a team to achieve goals in life;  both, on and off the court. The event will be held next Thursday, April 25th, @ Northview High School’s main gymnasium; with Pre-Game activities set to begin at 4pm with the Dothan Gym Rats; leading up to the "main event" with the AND-1 STAR PLAYERS set to begin at 7pm sharp. Proceeds from concession stand sales as well as $1 per ticket sold will be donated to Northview High School. The students, parents, and basketball fans across the area who attend the game can expect to see high-flying dunks, acrobatic flips, and "on-the-floor" magic tricks; all performed live during the game. Also, half-time entertainment will include performances by the Northview Furious Steppaz (step team), Northview Cheerleading team,  a "3-PT" knock out competition and a live appearance by the famous "Northview Cougar" mascot . This year ticket prices are $8 for students, $12 for adults, and $15 for court-side right behind the And-1 Star Players; kids 4 &  under are free.
