Zack’s Family Restaurant Featured in Sothern Living Magazine

This week, Southern Living magazine featured Alabama’s top 10 best meat ’n’ threes restaurants. 

These are considered the cafeteria-style restaurants where guests choose from a variety of meats and southern-style vegetables, sides, and desserts.

Zack’s Family Restaurant of Slocomb was one of those beloved southern restaurants included in the top-ten best of Alabama.

The Dothan location was damaged by fire last July and is closed until further notice, but it was a favorite of many.

Each day, the menu at Zack’s is different, but there are always classics such as fried and baked chicken and country fried steak along with a variety of vegetables and sides like greens, peas, and corn.  

The salad bar is also superb; additionally, they have a dessert spread that includes banana pudding, key lime cake, and peach cobbler.

If you are in the Slocomb area, stop by Zack’s for some amazing southern cuisine!
