MISSION OF SERVICE & EVENT
IAmTheNash Promotions in coordination with Dothan Gym Rats and Dothan High School announces the return of the world famous Court Kingz Basketball Tour 2014 on Mothers Day Weekend; Saturday, May, 10th 2014; this marks the 4th consecutive year a professional entertainment basketball team has made a tour stop here in the Wiregrass area. Formally, we’ve known AND-1 Live Basketball to make the annual appearance here in the wiregrass; this year, an all new and highly explosive team of new players, new faces, new uniforms, and an all new name (The Court Kingz) will revolutionize the meaning of “S.P.O.R.T.S.” (Self-Control.Perseverance.Optimism.Respect.Tenacity.Service) in the Wiregrass; they’re arriving with an inspirational message to share with thousands of students touching on anti-bullying and character development that has already impacted over 1 million high school students to date. The message is powerful, the real-life experiences are inspiring, and the main event basketball game is highly acclaimed by high school principals, coaches, and churches nationwide; AND entertaining for teens, families, and kids all ages. The Court Kingz are not only highly regarded athletes in the sport of basketball; but they are also ambassadors of spirituality while living in the world of reality; Court Kingz is a non-profit faith based Christian Basketball Ministry with the mission of spreading real-life testimonial stories and situations that change peoples lives and creates new social and financial opportunities through the sport of basketball. During each tour stop, Court Kingz targets to take over high school basketball courts all over the nation while partnering with each hosting school, business, city, or charitable organization; in efforts to raise funds for athletic programs, non-profit organization activities, community service and outreach programs, and other charitable needs groups. We are excited to have them live in action; again, Saturday, May, 10th at Dothan High School Gym; located at 1236 South Oates St., just outside of downtown. Doors open at 4pm. Pre-game from 4pm until 6:30pm starring The Dothan Gym Rats vs. Dothan Blaze. Empowered Motivational Speaking & Performance by Steppaz for Christ from 6:30pm pm until 7pm; and the MAIN EVENT GAME will kick off at 7pm starring The Court Kingz. Event admission is low cost and family friendly; Student tickets $8 Adult tickets $10 Courtside $12 and Kids 4 and Under FREE. COURT KINGZ TEAM
The Court Kingz current roster features players who have been featured on ESPN, NBA Halftime Shows, and Sprite Slam Dunk Competition across the nation. The number one entertainment basketball player in the world “Phillip Champion” better known as Hot Sauce has been staggering the balance of opposing defenders his entire professional career. “Zig Zag” highly talented point guard who has been compared to “The Professor” electrifies gyms with his arsenal of “in-game” basketball tricks, on-the-floor break dancing, and ball handling technique. The “Great White Dunker” is the newly emerging free-style dunker whose athletic ability has changed the landscape of multi-racial dunkers in gyms everywhere; his vertical leaping ability has broken barriers in unifying players from all different cultural backgrounds. “Mani Love”, the worlds “TALLEST-Midget” professional basketball player; is known for his lightening quick speed up and down the court, hilarious acts with the basketball, kid-friendly jokes and mannerisms, and his irresistible “curiosity factor”; everyone wants to know if the shortest player on the court; can perform up to his TALL personality. Lastly, we feature a wiregrass area “Dothan” native, Jamal Rodgers, better known as “Baby Lebron” for this sharp resemblance of NBA Superstar Lebron James; he has earned this prestige title with his consistent work ethic; ultimately becoming recruited by the tour; and more importantly, his goal to become an NBA player. Baby Lebron maintains high leaping ability-showcasing powerful dunks, combines speed with agility; and has shooting range beyond the 3PT line. He is a triple threat to all defenders at any given time and is an area favorite. Be sure to attend the game and see the other featured stars we have on the roster; they are triumphant kings of the court.
OUR GOAL
In 2014, we are looking to continue to provide high school students and young people across America the opportunity to witness and experience the powerful and impactful message of Court Kingz Basketball Tour. Spreading the message of anti-bullying and character development to change and improve our youth’s quality of life and motivate them to strive for excellence in the revolution of S.P.O.R.T.S. ((Self-Control.Perseverance.Optimism.Respect.Tenacity.Service). Additionally, we would like to offer our talented roster of players and unique life experiences; as an entertaining and educational tool to partner with more high schools, local businesses, and charitable organizations; to raise funds that can be allocated towards building and reaching visions of the future. We all benefit from working together, inspiring those that dream, improving community morale, and raising funds to continue the mission of service.
