Community theatre offers fall break camp for ages 6-12

Join Southeast Alabama Community Theatre for a Fall Break Theatre Camp, Oct. 11-14 (Tuesday-Friday) from 8:30 - 11:30 daily. Open to ages 6-12, students will learn the basics of theatre and rehearse a play to be performed before an audience of family and guests. Younger students learn how to act out a story and develop characters. Older students become confident in body language, oral interpretation, clarity, and vocal projection. Theatre builds skills in decision-making and teamwork in a fun and creative way.

Friday’s performance is admission-free and open to families and friends to attend. Curtain is at 11:00 AM. The instructor is Brianna Lewis, a recent Communication Arts (Theatre) graduate of Troy University.

Location: Cultural Arts Center, 909 S. Saint Andrews Street, Dothan

Deadline to register is Oct. 5. Cost: $95 (tuition waivers available)
