Schedule: Full Time- Monday to Friday

Salary: $12.00 an hour

The Early County Board of Assessors is now accepting applications for two (2) Full-Time positions (40 hours per week) of Deputy Clerk in the Tax Assessor’s Office.

The duties of the positions include filing, data entry, document retrieval, assisting with measuring and recording information from deeds and assisting the public as needed.  Once training has been completed, the person filling this position will also assist with maintenance of tax records and maps, help prepare annual assessments on all taxable property, prepare and mail assessment notices and assist with the sales ration data.

Computer skills and clear communication skills are required as well as a willingness to travel for training.  Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma and possess a valid Driver’s License.
