Family in Eufaula needs help laying to rest their son in Jonesboro, GA

Trying To Put My Son To Rest

In february 2011, the family was called to the hospital for my son anthony who was sick and at the time no one could tell us what was wrong with him.
After a lot of tests and hours of waiting the doctor came in and told the family that anthony, had liver cancer. First we were told that he needed a new liver and there was a long waiting list and the cost was way more then we could come up with. As a father the news was heart breaking! My thoughts were that my son was going to die and there was nothing i could do for him!
After taking him to a cancer hospital, our hope was restored! ( praise God) he had a chance to live!
For the first year everything was going great, his treatment was working, he was getting better. Until his wife decided that she needed a better live then standing by my son. My son and his wife were together for 7 years before they were married, they were married for 6 years, so after 13 years of loving each other she needed a new life and walked out when he needed her the most. This broke his heart and he gave up on life.
I am not blaming anyone for my sons death, i am only telling what happened in my son's life!

After his wife left, he stopped taking his treatments and by the time he went back to the doctor his cancer had started to take over his body.
It has been downhill from that day on, i thought i had felt the worse pain ever the day i found out that he had cancer, but i was wrong.
Watching him lay in a hospital bed in so much pain and there is nothing i can do to help him!
There was so many times i prayed that God would just allow me to take his pain so he could be in peace! As a loving parent we want the best for our children and when they are in pain we want to do all we can to make them feel better and when we are unable to do so we start to feel their pain with them.
I am sad to say that on july 20,2013. Anthony lost his fight with cancer and went to be with our heavenly father! He is no longer in pain for he could never be so happy.
“here is where the end should be but it is doesn't”

On sunday July 20, 2013, while we were at the funeral home (one that has been used by my family for many years) we were told that because Anthony did not have life insurance the family would have to pay the funeral expenses before they could put my son to rest needless to say we don't have 15000.00 to give anyone.
The lord above has cut our funeral expenses
From $15000.00 to $6000.00 which we are so thankful for but we still are unable to pay this amount, for this reason we are forced to ask others to help us to put our family member and my son to rest.
I wish i could put into words how painful it is for all of us to know that as each day that passes, anthony, is laying there in that funeral home. As a father i can say that each day for me is a day filled with pain, unable to think , eat ,or sleep.
Please i am asking for donations so we can raise $6000.00 and be able to allow my son to be put to rest. With out the help of others we will be unable to do help my son.
The funeral home has only given us a few more days to hold his body before something must be done. We want to be able to bury anthony and not someone else!
Please! Whoever is reading this help me bury my son and let him finally have the peace that he deserves after such a long and painful affair. My family needs this so that we can start a long healing process. Thank you so much and god bless you
