I am proud to announce that I am candidate for Headland City Council District 1. I am a 1999 graduate of Headland High School. I currently hold a BS degree in Elementary Education from Troy University and am presently pursuing a Masters degree in Leadership. I have taught school for the past 7 years. My current employment is with Dothan City Schools as a Fifth Grade Teacher at Jerry Lee Faine Elementary School. As a City Council member my goal is to work collectively with the mayor and the city council members to continuously weigh the decisions that affect the lives of Headland’s residents, the business and social concerns of the city, and impact the overall harmony of our community. With Godly wisdom, concern for the people, and an open mind I vow to serve the people of District 1 and the City of Headland. I am asking for your vote and support on Tuesday, August 28, 2012.
