Here are some events coming up at Southern Cross Ranch. The flyers for the events are on our website. If you have any questions, feel free to call Joy at 334-790-0372. If you haven't made it to Southern Cross Ranch, you should come on out and visit us! We are less than 15 miles from Ross Clark Circle, so it's just a short drive to come see us!

September 29-30 - Southern Crossfire Mounted Shooting
Starts at 5:00 pm on Saturday and 9:00 am on Sunday. Bring the family for some Wild West, Rootin' Shootin' FUN!! Concessions will be on site. Cowboy Church on Sunday at 8:00 am.

October 13-14 - Southeast Stock Horse Clinic & Show
Join us on Saturday at 8:00 am for a clinic to learn about Ranch Pleasure, Trail, Reining, and Working Cow Horse. Clinicians will be Carolyn Smith and Shawn Holden. Cost for the clinic is $60 for American Stock Horse Association members and $85 for non-members (includes membership). Spaces are limited, so sign up early! Auditing the clinic is FREE! Concessions will be on site both days. Sunday will be the show starting at 9:00 am.

October 26-27 - WOHA Open Show
Friday night, starting at 5:00, will be all of the speed events! Barrels, poles, arena race, and more! Saturday, starting at 10:00 am, starting with halter classes. There will be over-fences classes and ranch horse classes on the class list. See the complete class list on our website. Concessions on site both days. Sign up early for discounted entry fees! We will also have some FUN classes! This is sure to be a lot of fun! Tell your friends!!

November 9-11 - Brian Sumrall Stock Horse Clinic II
This is the second clinic with Brian Sumrall this year! The last clinic was AWESOME!! The clinic is full, but there is no charge to come watch and learn! Concessions on site.

November 17 - Tack Swap
Clean out your tack room and come sell it at the Tack Swap for some extra Christmas money or buy your Christmas presents early! Booths are only $10 to individuals and $20 for commercial vendors if reserved and paid BEFORE October 15! Any horse-related items are welcome. Please no live animals. Concessions on site.

December 1-2 - Southeast Stock Horse Clinic & Show

2013 is shaping up to be a phenomenal year at Southern Cross Ranch! We have some exciting events planned for the year! If you haven't heard yet, we have a Charmayne James clinic scheduled for April 18-21! Charmayne is an 11 time world champion barrel racer! We are super excited to have her come to the ranch! We also have several open shows, stock horse shows, and mounted shooting matches scheduled for the year. There are some other events in the works, so stay tuned for more!!
