Which type of wisdom do you prefer?****James 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. **[There is earthly wisdom that doesn't come from God. Where does it come from? What does devilish mean? If you think you know it all now, you'll never ask God for true wisdom. A person with this kind of wisdom can lead you astray. This type of wisdom is preferred by many today]. ****James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.**[This is heavenly, Godly wisdom which comes from above. Please research the meaning of all the desc riptive words (pure, peaceable, gentle, etc.). Wisdom from above will help you in this life and the afterlife, unlike earthly wisdom. Here are two of the many pertinent verses on this topic: Proverbs 4:7 and 9:10].
