Wiregrass Senior Bass Trail Tournament Results From Lake Eufaula (March)

The Wiregrass Senior Bass Trail's second tournament for 2019 was held March 6th on Lake Eufaula and started with a temperature of 26°F at blast off. But despite the frigid temperatures and a constant 20+ mph wind out of the North, the bass were on fire in some areas of the lake. Several good 3-bass bags were brought to the scales at weigh-in.

The team of Breckenridge/LaFontaine took first place with an impressive 3-bass bag weighing 14.30 pounds. They also won the big bass pot with a 6.53 egg filled female.

The father and son team of Odom/Odom finished in second place with a 3-bass bag weighing 13.20 pounds. They also weighed in a big bass that pushed the scales to 6.07 pounds.  

Both, the first and second place teams, said they caught several good bass throughout the day on a variety of baits. 

The Simmons brother team came in third place with a solid 3-bass limit that earned them a little cash.

The next WSBT will be held on Lake Seminole on April 3rd and should produce some very impressive bags since the bass spawn will be in full swing.
