WSBT Tournament Results from Lake Seminole (February)

On February 6, 2019 Anglers with the newly formed Wiregrass Bass Trail hit the waters of Lake Seminole and enjoyed a beautiful day on the Lake. The bite, which was slow at times, did produce some good bass throughout the day.

The field of Anglers participating in the 2019 WSBT has almost doubled this year and we’re looking to grow the trail to a minimum of 60 Anglers by years end. 

The Team of Ward/Ingram finished first in the 3-fish tournament and barely squeezed by the number 2 finishing Team of Knick/Wright for big bass. Only 0.22 ounces separated the two largest bass weighed in after the tournament.

The third place position went to the Team of Simmons/Simmons followed by the Team of Kennedy/Castagneto who came in fourth. The competition is good but the camaraderie among Anglers is great!

The next WSBT will be out of Thomas Mill Creek on Lake Eufaula, AL. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.

Anyone age 40, or older is invited to come and participate in the WSBT. We encourage all Anglers, especially  those Anglers who fish with family members, to come and join us. Read our exceptions to the "Age 40 Rule" in the posted article "Rules and Schedule" here on our Hunt ’n Fish page.
