Ms. Ernestine Huggins Grantham Cobb of Geneva, Alabama passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022. She was 95.

 

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at the Poplar Head Community Cemetery in Westville, Florida with the Rev. Keener Batchelor officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.

 

 In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Southern Care Hospice, 300 N. Edwards St, Enterprise, AL 36330.

 

Ernestine was born July 6, 1927, in Holmes County, Florida to the late Henry Horace and Vera Pearl Mitchell Huggins. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She believed in hard work and instilled that into her entire family. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Cobb, father of her girls, Max Grantham, one brother, Arthur Eugene Huggins and a grandson, Danny Glenn Mock.

 

Ernestine is survived by her daughters, Linda G. Davis of Coffee Springs, AL and Glenda G. (J. Everett) Stewart; three grandchildren, Chris Davis (Sharon) of Coffee Springs, Danncey Wood ( Brad) of Enterprise, AL, Tammy Stewart of Chancellor, AL; two great-grandchildren, Tucker Davis and Brady Wood, both of Enterprise, AL; sisters: Jeneice McKinnon and DeLois Carroll (Jerry) of Westville, FL and a number of special nieces and nephews.
