U.S. VeteranAdalberto Q. Rosado of Enterprise, AL passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, December 14, 2023 at a Birmingham Hospital.  He was 79.


A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 22, 2023 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, 1301 Neal Metcalf Road, Enterprise, AL with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time.  Those who wish to remember Adalberto may attend the service.


Adalberto was born September 24, 1944, in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. He was the son of Pablo Quinones and Francisca Rosado. Adalberto grew up in Puerto Rico and left Puerto Rico when he was 16 years old and traveled around the United States. He met the love of his life, Sandra Rosado in Hartford, Wisconsin in 1968 and they celebrated 55 years together on February 8, 2023. Adalberto served in the U.S. Army for 23 years. He fought in the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. He was a loyal member of the American Legion Post No. 0073.


Surviving in addition to his wife, Sandra Rosado, are his two sons, Tony Rosado and Johnny Rosado; three grandchildren, Maycie Rosado, Alyx Rosado and Finley Rosado; two brothers, Julio Enrique Sanchez and Angel Vazquez; three sisters, Carmen Quinones, Luz Eneida Gonzalez and Julia Maria Rodriguez.
