Agnes Juanita Dickerson Hudson Nowell, of Cottonwood, AL passed away at her residence Sunday, November 4, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.


 


Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends John Hunt and Steven Peacock officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Assembly of God Cemetery in Grangerburg with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


 


The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Flowers will be accepted.


 


Juanita was the daughter of Dent and Bethany Moore Dickerson. Mrs. Nowell was born April 28, 1923 near Ashford and lived all her life in Ashford, Grangerburg and Cottonwood area. She was a member of Antioch Church for 37 years, and later united with Frith Hill Community Church, teaching Sunday School on all levels and was currently teaching Adults  until she was disabled. She will be greatly missed.


 


She was preceded in death by her parents, twelve sibilings, husbands, Teenie Hudson and Frank Nowell.


 


Survivors include three children, George Hudson, Cedar Springs, GA; Elizabeth (Sally )Spencer, Cottonwood; Connie Proper, Ashford; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one special granddaughter, Beth (Clint) Jones and a special great-grandchild, Hudson Jones.
