Agustina C. Carson

 

Agustina C. Carson, a resident of Dothan, passed away, Sunday, January, 8, 2012 at the home of her daughter. She was 83.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:30 p.m. on  Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at St. Columba Catholic Church Chapel with Rev. Patrick Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing.

 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, P O Box 1170, Dothan, AL 36302.

 

Mrs. Carson was born December 25, 1928 in Panama. She was a real Army wife and resided in the Canal Zone until 1960. She later resided in Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois before moving to Dothan 11 years ago. Mrs. Carson was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church.

 

She is predeceased by her husband, James Carson and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

 

Survivors include 4 children, Alley Juckem (Norbert) of Dothan, Manuel Carson (Judy) of Tuscaloosa, Illuminada Drevenak (Joseph) of Springhill, FL and Doris Graceffh (Benjamin) of Rockford, IL; two sisters, Christina Taff and Frocita Dominguez, both of Panama, a brother, Falcon Dominguez of Panama; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
