Alfred John Manfra of Enterprise, AL passed away, Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Medical Center Enterprise.  He was 79.

          Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, June 3, 2012 at St. Luke United Methodist Church with Rev. Dric Williford officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until service time at the church.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to:  St. Luke United Methodist Church Building Fund, 201 Heath St., Enterprise, AL 36330 or to:  American Parkinson Association, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10305.

          Mr. Manfra was a retired U. S. Navy Sr. Chief Petty Officer and following his distinguished Navy career, he retired from Ace Pump Corporation after 28 years in Memphis, TN.

          He was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Talkowski of Boston, MA.

          Survivors include his wife, Dottie Manfra, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Kristi Patterson (Russ) Memphis, TN; sons, Kenneth Manfra, Melbourne, FL; Keith Manfra (Ann) Cincinnati, OH; John Manfra (Amy) Enterprise, AL; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
