Alice L. Deane

Alice L. Deane, a longtime resident of Dothan, died Sunday afternoon, November 30, 2014 at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Dothan. She was 94.

Burial will be held in Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida. Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street has charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Deane was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 19, 1920. She later resided in Australia for nearly 20 years before moving back to the states. She was a resident of Dothan for the past 34 years.

She is predeceased by her husband, George Joseph Deane who died in 2003.

She is survived by her son, Michael Deane (Michelle) of Dothan; two grandchildren, Jennifer Blank (Brian) of Dothan and Colin Deane of Dothan.
