Alvie Lee Killingsworth of Slocomb passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his residence. He was 89 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Rev. Jerry Miller officiating under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will following in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by 3 children, Johnny Ray Killingsworth, Renorma Ann Hayes, and Jimmy Lee Milborn.

Survivors include his wife, Murl Killingsworth; 2 daughters, Patricia Bell and Carolyn Fischer; 3 sons, Danny Killingsworth, Ricky Killingsworth, and Ronnie (Sandy) Buckley; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
