Amelia Katherine Kelley, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 following an extended illness. She was 5.


Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Harvest Church with Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. Family will receive friends at the church for 1 hour prior to the service.


Amelia was born in Dothan and was an active part of her church and loved by the community. Her sweet smile and disposition brought joy to everyone she encountered. Amelia loved people, touching the hearts of many. She immensely enjoyed music, dancing, playing with light up toys, and bath time. She loved attending all of her brothers’ sporting events, her sibling’s theatrical plays, and watching her favorite shows. She will remain forever in our hearts.


Survivors include her mother, Jenna Kelley; her father, Jeremy Kelley; her siblings, Jacob and Tyler Johnson and Drew, Jackson, and Madison Kelley; her grandparents, Sid and Scotti Strickland and Raymond and Patsy Kelley; and her great-grandfather, Harold Strickland.
