A celebration of her life will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2020 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-3 pm.

Amy was born on October 18, 1974 in Leesburg, Florida and moved to Dothan at an early age. Amy was a Dothan High School alumnus and started a career in the medical field in the Dothan area immediately after high school. She was dedicated to her career and her work family. Amy was in the home health field for over 20 years and was passionate about the service that she helped provide to the Dothan community and the surrounding area. She was most currently the business manager of Southeast Alabama HomeCare.

Amy’s personality was like no other; funny, witty, bluntly honest and sassy. She could light up the room in more ways than one.

Amy’s family was her true love. One of her favorite quotes was “Who needs friends when you have family?” Amy’s family included many work colleagues, blood relatives and four legged friends that she would move mountains for. Amy rescued her furry friend, Farrah and was by her side for almost 18 years. They are now reunited. She leaves behind her current two Goldendoodles, Frankie and Flossie and will be reunited one day soon to take them all for a ride in her red convertible!

Amy was the president and founder of the “Amy Sue Fan Club,” and your application for entry will most likely be pending indefinitely.

Survivors include her parents, Charles and Karen Bell; her brother, Brad (Amy Holer) Bell; her sisters, Katie (Ashley) Hart, Jennifer (Donald) Watson, and Sabrina Hardy; she adored her 8 nieces and 2 nephews, Brent (Brittany) McCarty, Haydyn (Brandon) Livingston, Madyson Watson, Sage Lewis, Logan (Bryan) McGinnis, Savannah (John) Purcell, Devin (Hunter) Cordle, Scout Hart, Hudson Hardy, and Roman Hart; her 7 great-nieces and nephews; and her domestic partner, Bi Nguyen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Wiregrass Humane Society. https://www.wiregrasshumanesociety.com/
