Andrew “Andy” Brewer (Shoe Shop Man) of Geneva, AL passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at his home. He was 78 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2021, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Chuck Grantham officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Andy was born in Chipley, FL on December 31, 1942, to the late Wallace and Myrtis Brewer. Andy owned and operated the Geneva Shoe Shop for 35 years.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was also a proud graduate of the 1961 Geneva High School Class. Andy was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.    

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Wallace, Jr., Jimmy, Tommy, Donnie, and Danny Brewer.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Vonnie L. Brewer of Geneva, AL; one daughter, Tracy Leaellen Brewer of Dothan, AL; three sons, Gary Andrew Brewer (Brandi) of Monroe, LA, William Andrew Brewer of Westville, FL, and Christopher Barlow Stone (Marty) of Roswell, GA; two grandchildren, Gaige Andrew Brewer, and Morgan Ashley Brewer; one sister, Barbara Ann Clay of Woodstock, GA, two brothers, Terry Wayne Brewer of Vernon, FL, and Michael Brewer (Juanita) of Geneva, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
