Mr. Andrew Hubert Dixon of Columbus, GA passed away on Monday, August 03, 2020. He was 85 years old.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 06, 2020 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with the Reverend Greg Lay officiating. Burial will follow at Black Community Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Dixon was born in Geneva County, AL (Black) on February 04, 1935 to the late Zeb and Lillie Mae Thames Dixon. He retired from Flournoy Construction after many years working with the company in maintenance.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sonja Ann Vanlandingham Dixon and four brothers, Jack, Ray Don, Jimmy, and Max Dixon.

 He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Buschel of Columbus, GA, and Laura Young (John) of Midland, GA; one son, Terry H. Dixon (Sylvia) of Geneva; six grandchildren, Mike Buschel (Regina) of Columbus, GA, Amy Cramer (Chris) of Smith Station, AL, Kaci Buschel of Columbus, GA, Daniel Dixon of Geneva, Candace Lawton (Stan) of Deatsville, AL and Christa French (Brandon) of Geneva; six great-grandchildren, Kadence, Kainen, Brooklyn, Preslee, Owen and Oliver; one sister, Peggy Newby of Geneva and a host of special nieces, nephews, and extended family.
