Mr. Angus Troy Alberson, of Geneva, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 19, 2020. He was 61 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Donnie Earles, Rev. Larry Mock, and Rev. Johnny Trim officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Troy was preceded in death by his parents, Angus and Mavis Barker Alberson; son, Duston Cooper; and brother, Angus Alberson.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Melinda Alberson of Geneva; children, Dylan Alberson and Chad Worthy (Brandi) both of Geneva; grandchildren, Cole Worthy (Hannah), Tatum Worthy, and Kelsea Post; great-grandchildren, Mia Worthy; siblings, Brenda (Mike) Fountain of Geneva, Glenn (Shari) Alberson of Pensacola, FL, Marlene (Wolfgang) Schaller of Geneva, and Shane (Heather) Alberson of Rehobeth; step-mother, Betty Alberson of Dothan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will gather at the home of Marlene and Wolfgang Schaller (801 N Iris Street Geneva, AL 36340.)

The family asks those in attendance to follow all social distancing guidelines.
